YS Jaganmohan Reddy Case : The CBI informed the Special CBI Court that the final chargesheet in the disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be filed in the court on September 16 or 17.

Hyderabad: The CBI informed the Special CBI Court that the final chargesheet in the disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be filed in the court on September 16 or 17. The Counsel of the investigating agency said that the CBI was preparing the chargesheet and it will be submitted to the court by September 17.
The Counsel also sought time for filing a counter to the bail petition of Jagan as the hearing has been posted to September 18.
The Kadapa MP moved bail petition in the court on September 11 on the ground that the four-month deadline set by the Supreme Court for completion of investigation by the CBI into the case against him ended on September 9.
The central agency on September 10 filed three more chargesheets against Jagan and others. With this, eight chargesheets have been filed in the case till now. Jagan was arrested by the CBI on May 27 last year on charges of amassing disproportionate assets. He has been lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison here.
