TITA Tribute to Prof Jayashankar. The Telagnana Information Technology Association (TITA) organized a candle light vigil from Hitex to Cyber Towers to commemorate the 3rd Death Anniversary of Prof. Jayashanakar Sir. Many IT Professionals gathered and participated in a candle light rally to pay tribute to the Telangana ideologue and former Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University, Dr. K. Jayashankar.

TITA Pays Rich Tribute to Prof. JayashankarHyderabad: The Telagnana Information Technology Association (TITA) organized a candle light vigil from Hitex to Cyber Towers to commemorate the 3rd Death Anniversary of Prof. Jayashanakar Sir.

Many IT Professionals gathered and participated in a candle light rally to pay tribute to the Telangana ideologue and former Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University, Dr. K. Jayashankar. They garlanded the Photo of Prof.Jayashankar and observed a two minute silence in his memory near Cyber Towers.

They also shouted slogans of “amar rahe Jayashankar sir” and “may his ideas become realities”.

“Prof. Jayashankar had been the foremost proponents of separate Telangana state and had strongly opposed the merger of erstwhile Hyderabad state with Andhra state in 1956. Since then, he had been relentlessly fighting for separate statehood for Telangana, spearheading every movement. His tryst with Telangana started since he was a young student of Intermediate, when he walked out of his class as a protest for state reorganization in 1952. Then, in 1962, he was part of a campaign which rocked the region. As a lecturer, in 1968, he participated in the revived agitation. He carried out his struggle for Telangana through research, academic studies and by educating people on the cause.” said TITA Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala.

Among those who paid tributes included TITA General Secretary Naveen Chinthala, Joint Secretaries Ravi Ambadipudi, TITA Women’s Wing General Secretary Bindu Muthangi, TITA Board members Anthony Ravi, Yerolla Naresh, Hari Brahmandabheri, Nagesh Appagari, Subhash, Vinay Kumar Bhathini and many other IT employees.

Rich tributes were paid also in Bangalore near Marthahalli circle to Prof.Jayashankar on the eve of his third death anniversary by TITA - Bangalore Wing members Prashanth, Venkat Reddy, Shyam, Raghavendra and others.
