Barbeque Nation, a dining restaurant chain, inaugurated its third outlet in the city at Gachibowli on Thursday. Actress Nikitha Narayan lit up the first barbeque to mark the official launch. The guests for the day comprised members of Telugu film fraternity and corporate honchos from around the city. The guests were treated to a memorable a live performance by a band.

Speaking on the occasion, Uday Menon, chief business officer, Barbeque Nation, said, “Gachibowli is an important pocket in the city for us. We are very pleased to bring the Barbeque Nation dining experience to Hyderabad’s IT hub. This is the 40th outlet of Barbeque Nation in the country since its inception in 2006 and the third in the city, after the Banjara Hills outlet opened in 2008 and Jubilee Hills outlet opened in 2012.

We will be adding 24 outlets in the next year at the rate of two outlets a month. We will be setting up an outlet in Dubai next year and are looking at other destinations like the UK, the USA, Sri Lanka, etc.” Vijay Bakshi, culinary operations, Barbeque Nation, said, “The novelty of live on-the-table grill never grows old and we are delighted to take this concept forward to a whole new set of customers. We welcome our guests to pamper their taste buds to a heavenly delicious barbeque spread.”

“We are constantly looking at culinary innovations and are launching a 'Brand within the Brand concept' by introducing Kulfi Nation. Kulfi Nation will be part of every Barbeque Nation and will offer kulfi dessert of 790 flavours for the customers,” Bakshi added.
