Retired employees deserve to be treated well: Naini
The 32nd Pensioners Day celebrations were held under the aegis of All India Retired Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRFF) at the Rail Nilayam auditorium on Wednesday. Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy who inaugurated the celebrations stated, “Retired employees are the backbone of any organisation and deserve to be treated well.
The 32nd Pensioners Day celebrations were held under the aegis of All India Retired Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRFF) at the Rail Nilayam auditorium on Wednesday. Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy who inaugurated the celebrations stated, “Retired employees are the backbone of any organisation and deserve to be treated well. I appreciate the retired railway employees for their unity and commitment to ensure welfare of your brethren. I assure you of all help to the cause of retired railway employees.”
PK Srivastava, general manager, South Central Railway, also assured the pensioners of the zone all possible help from the administration to address their grievances if any. Earlier, YN Sastry, president, AIRRF, spoke at length on the grievances of the pensioners on railways. Additional general manager SK Agarwal was present at the event.
