T Murali Krishan assumes charge as Jt. Commissioner
T Murali Krishan assumed charge as Joint Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City Police (Admin), on Friday. Previously, he had worked as an Additional DCP, ACP and DCP. During his training days, Krishan won the Chief Minister\'s Sword of Honour for standing first in the best cadet category and Home Minister\'s Baton for being the best in outdoor subjects.
T Murali Krishan assumed charge as Joint Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City Police (Admin), on Friday. Previously, he had worked as an Additional DCP, ACP and DCP. During his training days, Krishan won the Chief Minister's Sword of Honour for standing first in the best cadet category and Home Minister's Baton for being the best in outdoor subjects.
He won several awards thereafter including the Prime Minister's Silver Cup Essay Competitions and overall best student in the mid-career training programme for IPS officers in 2011. His work ethic and professionalism during his stints with the United Nations Task Force in Bosnia and the office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Bosnia enhanced the image of the Indian Police. He was awarded the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2005 and President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2014.
