Contract medicos seek job security

The Telangana United Medical & Health Employees Union demanded the State Government to initiate immediate steps to regularise services of contract ANM employees working in health departments across the State. The employees organised a ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ rally at Indira Park on Thursday where its president Yada Naik and general secretary Balaram demanded that their salaries be raised in accordance with the Tenth PRC recommendations.

They also urged the government to grant 180 days maternity leave for women employees.
