Vietnam VAC now in Hyd!

Outsourcing and technology service specialist VFS Global announced the launch of two new Visa Application Centres (VACs) for Vietnam in India, with one in the city and the other in Chennai, on Monday. The new centres will provide easy access to Indian applicants and travel agents from the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu to apply for a visa to Vietnam.

Announcing this introduction of service with VFS Global, ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh said, “Facilitation of visa application for Indian citizens, especially those who are living far from Delhi, is one of our priorities this year. The visa application centres would not replace the Embassy because all applications will continue to be processed and issued by the Embassy.”

“The centres will save time and money for Indian citizens as they can apply for Vietnamese visa directly from Hyderabad or Chennai. In the same time, the Embassy has also reduced the time of processing and issuing visas. Altogether, these measures will certainly facilitate Indian travellers who want to come and visit our country,” Thanh added.
