Godavarikhani: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) general secretary Koleti Damodar denied allegations against Civil Supplies Minister D Sridhar Babu by Peddapalli MP G Vivekanand (Vivek) that the Minister was obstructing developmental works in Ramagundam Municipal Corporation.
Speaking to the newsmen here in Karimnagar district, he stated that Mr Sridhar Babu was striving for the all-round development of the district. ‘‘The Minister has been working hard for providing educational, health, employment and basic facilities to the people. He is making serious efforts for setting up JNTU College, completing Ellampalli project, providing farm loans and for expanding AP GenCo in the district.
Some leaders from TRS and TDP are making baseless allegations against the Minister,’’ he said.
Mr Damodar criticised that MP G Vivekanand failed in utilising funds under Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) and neglected development projects in the district. Former MLA Kasipeta Lingaiah, Congress leader Badikela Rajalingam and others were present.
