Kothagudem: District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu and MLA Jalagam Venkata Rao inspected the ongoing tourism development works here on Monday. Earlier the Collector inspected Kinnerasani tourism development works and directed the Panchayat Raj EE to make necessary arrangements for tourists.

He also asked the officials to pull down old buildings which are in dilapidated condition. DSP Surendar Rao, PR EE Ramachandram, DE Sudakar, Tahasildar Ganya and others accompanied the Collector and the legislator.
In Palvancha, local legislator Jalagam Venkata Rao will perform bhoomi pooja for bridges’ to be built at a cost of Rs 15.20 crore here on Tuesday. A bridge was proposed to be built at a cost of Rs 2.30 crore at 13/2 km milestone on Vulavanoor– Rajapuram road.

Another bridge was proposed at a cost of Rs 12 crore at 1/6 km over Kinnerasani weir on Yanambailu – Rajapuram road. The legislator said hardships of the people of remote areas like Vulavanoor will vanish once the bridges were constructed.
