Nalgonda: MP Gutha Sukender Reddy slammed opposition parties for creating nuisance during the distribution of Bathukamma sarees.
Addressing the media persons in Nalgonda on Tuesday, Gutha informed that due to the unavailability of sufficient handloom sarees, officials were forced to supply alternative sarees.
He assured that all eligible women would be given the handloom sarees next year. Stating that government’s decision of supplying 2 lakh buffaloes to all eligible in the State will create a new revolution in milk production, the Nalgonda MP said that farmers in the State were happy with correction of land records.
He added that Professor Kanche Ilaiah criticising the Arya Vaishyas through his writings was not proper and informed that the matter would be taken to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for necessary action.
TRS leaders Dubbaka Narsimha Reddy, Borra Sudhakar and others attended the press meet.
