CPM decries shifting of Collectorate
CPM District Executive Member Yerra Srikanth alleged that the shifting of the Collectorate was being done only to benefit the leaders of ruling party. Speaking at a meeting at Sundarayya Bhavan in Khammam on Wednesday, Srikanth said that the present Collectorate was within the reach for all sections of people.

Some of the ruling party leaders for their own benefit were exerting pressure on the government to shift the Collectorate. Instead of fulfilling the given promises, the government is unnecessarily thinking for shifting the Collectorate, he criticised.
He further demanded the government to withdraw the decision of shifting of Collectorate and warned the government of severe agitations if it goes ahead with its plan. Erugu Venkateshwarlu, Gummadi Narasaiah, L Veera Reddy, U Purushotham, Kanakam Saidulu and Uttam Kumar were present along with others.
