Khammam: The Left party leaders and the representatives of various social fora, who were vociferous opposing the shifting of the district Collectorate to a location near VV Palem village, threatened the government of dire consequences if it went ahead with its proposal.
The roundtable conference conducted under the aegis of CPI (M) here on Friday has in unison opposed the construction of Collectorate complex near VV Palem, which is 10 km away from the city.
