Banks urged to extend loans to handloom weavers

Stating that banks have a crucial role to play in the financial development of weaker sections in the society, she asked the bankers to treat the handloom sector on par with other sectors in extending financial aid in the form of loans.
Axis Bank Circle head Madhusudhan Rao informed that bank was providing valuble services to customers through 112 branches established across the State. Joint Collector Ravi Niak also took part in the programme.
