A team of three persons who have been supplying medicine to the Maoists were arrested by Charla police on Friday. Sub-Inspector (SI) Satyanarayana talking to the media at Charla police station said the police had been randomly checking the vehicles and found the trio who had been moving suspiciously.

The arrested included Madakam Sitaiah, Karam Muttaiah and Punem Ganapati. The police seized medicines intended for the Maoists from the accused. SI Satyanarayana said the arrested would be produced before the magistrate on Saturday.
