Khammam: State committee member of T-Mass B Hymavathi here on Friday said separate State of Telangana was formed with sacrifices of many and fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of all sections of the society, especially SC, ST, BC, MBC and Minorities, who make 93 per cent of State population, was the need of the hour.
Speaking at a review meeting in Khammam on Friday, Hymavathi said after the formation of State, the promises made to SC, ST, BC, MBC and Minorities were not fulfilled and people of these communities were facing hardships and leading miserable lives.
The T-Mass, which is formed with the support of 291 peoples organisations, was getting positive response from people for its agenda to fight the governments, she informed, adding that the TRS government had utterly failed in solving people’s issues.
“With honey-coated words and useless schemes, the TRS government is trying to deceive people of Telangana,” she alleged. She demanded the government to sanction loans to Self Help Groups without charging any interest besides increasing the pension amount to Rs 3,000 per month.
