Contract lecturers demand regularisation of services
State leader of Contract Lecturers Association K S Rama Rao urged the government to take initiation for regularisaion of contract lecturers, who were rendering their services in the education sector for many years.
Khammam: State leader of Contract Lecturers Association K S Rama Rao urged the government to take initiation for regularisaion of contract lecturers, who were rendering their services in the education sector for many years.
He released the 2018 calendar of the Association here at Naya Bazar Government Junior College in Khammam on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao reminded that prior to 2014 elections various political parties had promised regularisation of contract lecturers and the same should be honoured now.
He also alleged that the State government’s reported announcement to implement 50 per cent wage hike for contract faculty was illogical and unacceptable. Association president Satish and representatives Vijaya Lakhsmi, Shankar, Ganesh, Neeraja, K Suresh, K Vinod Babu, P Murali Krishna, Bhaskar, Kamalakar, Saraswathi, Suhasini, Manasa, Sindhu, Srinivas, Ravi and Rajesh were present along with others.
