Bhadrachalam Collector asks officials to submit mandal-wise reports on lands
District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu on Wednesday directed officials of the Revenue, Forest and Survey departments to submit and realistic mandal-wise reports on lands, survey of which they have completed in the recent past, as the details have to be preserved in records.

Reports on lands in the district, except Kothagudem division in Palvoncha mandal, should be submitted by January 12, Hanumanthu told the officials.Addressing a review meeting on lands with officials of the three departments, he stated that the reports should incorporate details of the Wakf, Endowments, Forest, tanks, Shikam, assignment lands after completing the survey by January 12. He asked officials to secure details of the occupied and encroached lands.
The Collector reviewed the progress of the recent land survey done at mandal level by Tahsildars and Forest officials. He wanted officials to submit details of the ‘Sada Bainama’ and pattas issued by the government, along with eight ‘namuna patralu’. The details should contain caste-wise land-holdings and lands involved in court cases.
Referring to the Sitarama lift irrigation scheme, the Collector stated that permissions for blasting requirements for its pump houses should be given for expeditious completion of the work. He sought reports of the lentil and roof-level works of Indiramma houses so as to pave the way for payment of pending bills.
Later, the Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu along with newly appointed Sub-Collector Pemala Satpathy released Revenue Association Organisation New Year calnder here in Collectorare. Among those present at the meeting were Bhadrachalam Sub-Collector Pamela Satpathi, DRO Kiran Kumar, RDO Ravindranath, AD Survey & Land Administration Kusuma Kumar, Forest officials of the four divisions and tahsildars.
