Nalgonda: Superintendent of Police Srinivas Rao informed that to inculcate discipline, moral values and patriotism in students, the Police department in association with Education department has started Police Cadet Corps programme.

He launched the three-day programme for students of Government High School and Diet School of Nalgonda, Buklewadi government school of Miryalaguda and Government High School of Devarakonda at district police centre in Nalgonda on Monday.

Addressing the students, the SP advised the students to learn perform different activities during the training programme and render services to the society. Stating that Police Cadet Corps would get reservation in government posts in future, he advised the students to achieve their goals with discipline, courage, commitment, service and humanity.

District Training Centre vice-principal Pratap Reddy, AR DSP Suresh Kumar, CI Anil Kumar, SIs Rajashekar Reddy, Anjaiah, Srinivas and 176 trainee students of respective schools took part in the programme.
