Khammam: Local MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy felt that youth with various skills can grab a number employment opportunity. The MP along with MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar and TRICOR Chairman Thati Venkateshwar Rao attended as chief guest to the ‘Koushal Mela’ programme organised at Pradhan Mantri Koushal Kendram (PMKK), at Srinagar Colony in Khammam on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said the Central and State governments were providing plenty of employment opportunities for unemployed present across the nation. The youth must acquire skills and grab the opportunities, he advised.

He further added that the unemployed youth as per their abilities and qualifications must choose the course they were interested in and must get training to get the job. “To perform well in any field, the youth must acquire certain special skills. Then only, they can reach greater heights,” he added.

TRICOR Chairman Thati Venkateshwarlu, speaking on the occasion, said instead of wasting time without any job, the youth must utilise this kind of opportunities and must get trained and learn something new to get the jobs.

Local MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar said he was happy see that Central and State governments organising such kind of programmes besides providing coaching to unemployed youth.

Later, the certificates were presented to the candidates who completed training in the previous batch. District Employment Officer Kondapalli Sri Ram, Deputy Mayor Battula Murali Prasad, Corporator Kottapalli Niraja, PMKK Khammam In-charge Y Rama Krishna, Coordinator S Naresh, M Srinivas, Prabhakar, Prashanth and Lingaiah were present along with others.
