Choutuppal: Revenue Divisional Officer Suraj Kumar assured to address the issues of farmers, who were parting away with their lands for the establishment of industrial park at Dandu Malkapuram village in Choutuppal mandal.

On Monday, the RDO conducted a special meeting with oustees of Dandu Malkapuram village at MPDO office in Choutuppal. During the interaction, he discussed the difference in compensation amount offered by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation and demands of farmers.

Meanwhile, farmers demanded payment of Rs 11.86 lakh per acre as paid to oustees of other projects and stressed that they would not handover lands unless government accepts their genuine proposal.

In reply, the RDO informed the farmers that he would take a final decision on compensation amount after discussing the issue with District Collector. He assured of rendering justice to them and further added that Pattadar passbooks would be issued to farmers from whom lands were taken away for industrial park.

MPP Chilukuri Prabhakar Reddy, TSIIC zonal manager Leelavathi, manager Nagaraju, Tahsildar Shaik Ahmed, vice-Sarpanch Ramswamy, former Sarpanches Om Prakash, Raju and Malkapuram villagers attended the meeting.
