Training programme begins for red shirt volunteers

He was inaugurating a training camp of “red shirt volunteers” under the leadership of party leader Yerra Gopi here on Thursday. A group of persons from the hamalis organisation have volunteered to undergo training as “red shirt volunteers.” Speaking on the occasion, Sudharshan Rao said revolutionary changes would take place in in politics, both in the State and at national level after the CPI-M national conference, to be held on April 22 in Hyderabad.
The CPI-M would bring all like-minded parties on a common platform with the main agenda of ushering in social justice and all-round development, he said.CPI-M district committee secretary Nunna Nageswar Rao said the Communist parties can only solve the problems being faced by the people.
It was high time that the weaker sections and the working class together waged a united fight for their rights, he said.CPI-M party three town leaders T Lingaiah, Sheelam Veerababu, D Ravi, Chinthala Ramesh, Madireddy Anji Reddy, Kommu Srinu, Sarangi Papa Rao, V Madhu, Ramesh participated in the programme.
