Kothagudem Collector releases Road Safety Week poster
District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu here on Wednesday urged the people to follow the traffic rules to avoid accidents and save the lives.
Kothagudem: District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu here on Wednesday urged the people to follow the traffic rules to avoid accidents and save the lives.
He was inaugurating the 29th Road Safety Week programme and released posters. Speaking on this occasion, the Collector said the slogan coined for this year Road Safety Week is “Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha” (Road Safety–Security to life).
The Collector advised the people to take precautions to ensure that there are not accidents. He stressed the need to ensure that minors do not drive vehicles.
He also cautioned the driver not to talk on cell phones while driving. He warned action against those indulging in drunk-driving. RTA officer Krishna Reddy and others participated in the programme.
