On the directions of Suryapet Superintendent of Police Prakash Jadav, Suryapet DSP Nageshwar Rao along with Suryapet Circle Inspector of Police (Rural) and 110 members carried out cordon and search operations in Sneha Nagar under Chivemla PS limits and seized 37 bikes, 2 autos as the owners failed to produce valid papers.
During the searching operations, police checked the houses in the colony and verified the details of the persons staying in them.
Later, speaking to media, DSP Nageshwar Rao appealed to the colony public to curb the illegal activities, thefts and identify the unknown persons. He further requested the public to pass on the information about the illegal activities and unknown persons to the local police to reduce the crime rate in the Suryapet division.
