Shringeri Shankar Mutt pontiff visits Yadadri
The head priest of Shringeri Shankara Mutt Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharathi Swamy paid a visit to the temple of Lord Narasimha Swamy atop Yadadri hill on Wednesday and had darshan of Lord Narshimha Swamy and his consort Goddess Laxmi at Balalayam.
Yadadri: The head priest of Shringeri Shankara Mutt Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharathi Swamy paid a visit to the temple of Lord Narasimha Swamy atop Yadadri hill on Wednesday and had darshan of Lord Narshimha Swamy and his consort Goddess Laxmi at Balalayam.
The Swamiji was given a rousing welcome by the officials and priests of the temple with rituals of the temple. Addressing the gathering after performing special puja at temple, he advised the devotees to follow a life based on truth, ethics and spirituality to lead a happy and contended life. He explained the incarnations of Lord Vishnu and importance of Lord Narsimha avatar. He also outlined the historic importance of the pilgrim centre Yadadri.
Temple chairman Narsimha Murthy, temple priests N Laxmi Narasimha Charyulu, KLaxmi Narasimha Charyulu, Venkata Charyulu, Surendra Charyulu, temple officials D Bhaskara Sharma, Raghu, Simha Charyulu, Balaji, Venkateshwarlu and several devotees were present on the occasion.
