Khammam: District Secretary of the Bahujana Left Front (BLF) Nunna Nageshwar Rao here on Friday alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his Ministers are deceiving the people by making their hollow promises.
The BLF leaders were releasing details of a survey they claimed to have conducted in 34 division in the city on various issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Nageshwar Rao said Roads and Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and local MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar had promised that 2,000 double bedroom houses would be constructed in the Khammam constituency under 2bhk housing scheme for shelter less poor.
But, till date in the last four years, only 216 double bedroom houses were constructed. How was it possible to complete the construction of 1,784 double bedroom houses in one year when it took four years for the government to build just 216 houses, he wondered.
The TRS government had failed in addressing the various issues such as construction of railway bridge, underground drainage system and 2bhk houses, he said.
A mass protest would be staged on June 25, 26 and 27 demanding that the TRS government solve the problems being faced by the people in Khammam constituency, he informed.
BLF leaders Y Srikanth, Y Vikram, N Ramesh, J Venkanna Babu, K Guru Murthy, Upendar Naik, S K Hussain, Venkateshwarlu, B Venkat Kumar, Indira, S K Bibi, Raghu, Vasu, Bhadram and Kalpana were present at the programme.
