55 constables get promotion as HCs

Khammam: Superintendent of Police A V Ranganath issued orders promoting 55 constables as head constables in the district on Tuesday. The SP, at his office in the town, conducted counseling for the eligible constables and issued promotion orders. Some working in Agency area were shifted to plain areas and those working in plains were transferred to Agency area. He also considered some problems of the personnel with regard to their health and they were given postings at the places where medical facilities are available. The constables who got promotion expressed their happiness over the promotions. Additional SP Thafsil Iqbal, Administrative Officer Venkateswara Rao and others were present in the counseling meet.
