Minister assures white ration cards to all eligible families

Khammam: Minister Ramreddy Venkat Reddy assured that the white ration cards would be given to all eligible families in the district. The Minister, who visited Khammam rural, Nelakondapalli and Kusumanchi mandals of Paderu Assembly constituency on Tuesday, inaugurated 'Sri Shakti' buildings and took part in several developmental programmes at various places. At Kusumanchi mandal headquarters, he took part in 'Amma Hastam' programme and distributed the essential commodities packets containing nine essential commodities to the white ration card holders. He later visited Nelapattu village of Kusumanchi mandal and laid foundation stones for the construction of CC roads and road side drains worth Rs 2.38 crore. The Minister also laid foundation stones for the construction of CC roads worth Rs 36 lakh in Venkatrampuram village. At Agraharam village, he took part in the bhoomi puja for the proposed construction works of cc roads and side drains worth Rs 88 lakh under the Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
