YSRCP leader’s fast foiled

Following suggestions by the government doctors the police foiled the indefinite fast undertaken by the YSR Congress leader Budda Rajasekhar Reddy and shifted him to the government hospital on Thursday. It may be recalled that the YSR Congress leader has launched an indefinite fast four days back and his blood sugar level has come down dangerously on Thursday prompting the police to take action.

It may be recalled that the YSR Congress leader has launched an indefinite fast four days back and his blood sugar level has come down dangerously on Thursday prompting the police to take action.
Atmakuru DSP BR Srinivasulu, four SIs and special police dispersed the people at the fasting camp. However, the agitators have gheraoed the police to prevent them from taking Rajasekhar Reddy to hospital. After some struggle, police have announced the arrest of the fasting leader and shifted him to the hospital. Following the incident, the YSR Congress called for total bandh of Atmakuru on Friday.
