Lokesh Lures Fishermen Community With Fresh Promises

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has said his government accorded top priority to the welfare of fishermen community.

In an interaction with fishermen in Chirala, he said Rs 375 crore were allotted to the community's development. During Prohibition of fishing in the sea, government will extended Rs 4,000 financial assistance every month and Rs 1,000 pension to the fishermen who are above 50 years.

The Minister said the talks were in progress with the centre to establish fishing harber. The government is also ready to complete Veligonda project on war footing.
