Family of four killed in road mishap

A road mishap occurred in Peddapalle district today resulting in the death of four members of a family.
A road mishap occurred in Peddapalle district today resulting in the death of four members of a family.
The police stated that the family were returning from Hyderabad in a car when the vehicle rammed into a stationary truck on Hyderabad-Karimnagar Rajiv Rahdari near Katnapally.
The deceased have been identified as Arun Kumar, his wife Soumya and their children Akhilesh Kumar and Shanvi.
The family were returning after admitting Arun Kumar’s brother and brother-in-law into a polytechnic college in Hyderabad.
Police suspect that Mr Kumar failed to notice the truck parked on the roadside and crashed into it. All of them were killed on the spot and the police shifted the bodies to a government-run hospital at Sultanabad for an autopsy.
