MLA Konda Surekha Seeks explanantion from KCR for restraining her party ticket
She also blamed the TRS government for levelling false allegations among the Warangal party leaders saying the Surekhas family has sought two party tickets
Perturbed over KCR's move for not including her name in the first list of the party candidates, Warangal east MLA Konda Surekha held a press conference on Saturday at Somajiguda.
Terming it as a big insult for a BCs and woman in Telangana, Konda Surekha sought an explanation from CM KCR for putting her name on hold in the list.
Surekha also said that Telangana is the only government which does not have a woman minister in the cabinet. She also asked the chief minister to explain as to why the government has not announced the names of woman MLAs -- Bodige Shobha and Konda Surekha. she also said that she will wait for three more days then will write an open letter to party and will announce the decision before media
The Warangal east MLA also said that she had won in 2014 elections by a whopping majority of 55,000 votes.
Surekha also said that she had held talks with KTR who sought an explanation about giving the party tickets to either her or daughter. The MLA further said that she had told KTR to accord party ticket to her, not her daughter Sushmita.
