Devotees Face Plights At Durga Temple On Navaratri Eve

Vijayawada: This navaratri festival, devotees will have to wait for hours in the serpentine queues to have the darshan of goddess Durga and offer puja atop Indrakiladri in Vijayawada.

Though the devotees bought Rs 300 ticket for quick darshan, they were denied the facility of special pupa as the temple authorities accorded top priority to VIP visits. People expressed anger for neglecting them by allowing only VIPs.

The number of visiting devotees to the temple are increasing manyfold but the temple authorities failed to provide necessary arrangements for the darshan.
