Firecrackers price reduced in Hyderabad to attract public

After the police issued a notification pertaining to the burst of firecrackers only between 8 pm to 10 pm, the firecrackers vendors across the city decreased prices on it to attract customers.

It is learned that firecrackers which were sold for Rs 100 last year and are now available at Rs 80 whereas the flower pots box has seen a decrease of half price compared to last year. It is now available at Rs 400. And the price of 12 shots has slumped from Rs 300 to Rs 250.

"The prices of firecrackers have been reduced to attract customers," said a retailer. However, another vendor said that introduction of license for firecrackers sale is also the reason for the limited stalls across the city.
