The Andhra Pradesh State Government has targeted netizens who supported YSR Congress Party and posting messages and photos against ruling party leaders on social media sites.
Based on a complaint lodged by TDP leader Babu Rajendra Prasad, police booked cases against 18 persons for posting derogatory comments and also the TDP leader's family member photos on Facebook.
Rajendra Prasad alleged that YS Jagan's mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila were behind the attack on the YSR Congress leader. The netizens took strong exception to the TDP leader's comments and trolled him on the social media. Uyyuru police in Krishna district are investigating the case and they are likely to arrest the persons soon.
