Bangalore: Students from CMR National Public School, HBR Layout have been actively volunteering since 2016. Inspired by an NGO called The Ugly Indians, the students have taken it as their responsibility to beautify their community.

They choose one spot and are taken there every Saturday with the help of their school. They include the neighbours and residents of that area to support them.

They have also organised a fundraising run under the campaign called "Better Bangalore Club". The funds raised were used to purchase all equipment required for beautification and cleaning. However, their challenge remains that they need to keep the beautified places intact.
