The chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officials to speed up the works at Kaleshwaram project. After a night halt in Karimnagar, KCR on Wednesday reached Kannepalli and examined the gravity works being carried out in the area.
He then instructed the officials to speed up the lining works before heading to Annaram Barrage. After inspecting the works at Annaram Barrage, KCR appreciated the officials for finishing up the work at brisk pace. Around 90 per cent of the work has been completed at Annaram Barrage with installing 66 gates.
Later, KCR visited Sundilla barrage and he will then head to inspect SRSP rejuvenation scheme works.
