The action of confining the Indian students by the US Homeland security is highly condemnable, the students departing to overseas, leaving behind their family, friends and their motherland to study and not to make any fortune. The US Immigration department as a part of their sting operation started a fake university in the name of “University of Farmington” to explode the racket of fraudulent stay with the help of student visa.
Instead of punishing the real culprits involved in the fraud, the immigration department is harassing the naive students, though with the interference of External Affairs Minister, the students started returning to India. The students before proceeding to foreign countries for higher studies should thoroughly explore the accreditation of the university they have chosen and the nitty - gritty of the location they opted to study.
On the other hand, when there are many finest and renowned universities are available within our country and many students from other countries are thronging to India for the purpose of higher studies and also innumerable opportunities are lies within our country in accordance with one’s skill and credentials, while they can chase their dreams in their own country itself.
