Rahul Gandhi kiss costs woman her life

Guwahati: Just a simple kiss knelled the death bells of a woman in Assam. Rahul Gandhi, the AICC vice president at one remove became the cause of murder of a tribal woman in Assam.

Rahul Gandhi took part in a programme organised by the self help groups on February 26 at Jorhat in Assam. Few women who wanted to shake hand with him have even kissed him on his cheeks and forehead. Rahul got shocked with this and stood up from the place where he was sitting till then.

In the same episode, a woman named Bonty also kissed him on his cheeks. This incident ignited fire in her family life. Vexed with the media publicity of this incident, her husband severely got depressed and killed her by burning alive. Later, he attempted suicide too. While Bonty died in this incident, her husband is critically injured and has been getting treatment in a local hospital. This incident has created sensation all over the nation.

According to the police, Bonty’s name was not found in the list of women who participated in the programme on February 26.
