Chief Minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi gave a clean chit to AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi in the kissing episode.
According to a tweet posted on news agency ANI's official twitter page, the woman burnt was not among those who attended Rahul's event.
The Tweet read: "Would like to clarify that the woman burnt was not present in Rahul ji's rally.Again rumours being spread-Tarun Gogoi,Assam CM."
Another post was a clarification from the UP police. It read: "The woman burnt is different, this woman was not present in meeting with Rahul Gandhi-Amanjit Kaur, SP Jorhat."
