BJP PM Candidate Narendra Modi Married When He Was 17. Narendra Modi, the Prime Ministerial candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party, has been targeted by his opponents over the issue of his marriage.
Hyderabad: Narendra Modi, the Prime Ministerial candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party, has been targeted by his opponents over the issue of his marriage. The same has troubled Modi to a great extent. Nevertheless, he kept composed all these days.
Astoundingly he mentioned about his marriage in the affidavit submitted to the officials while filing his nomination for Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency. In the affidavit, Modi mentioned that he was 17 when he got married. It means Modi didn’t reach marriageable age when he got married. Jashoda Ben, the wife of Modi, too was 17yrs when they married, according to the affidavit.

Modi also mentioned that he got separated with his wife just two weeks after their marriage as he wanted to focus on his aspiration. Bending over to the rule of disclosing of the properties, Modi mentioned that he was not aware of the asset details of his wife in the ibid affidavit. The leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party began stating that Modi has shut everybody’s mouth with his declaration.
