Following the Mughal emperor is a retired postmaster, Faizul Hasan Qadri from Kaser Kalan village in Uttar Pradesh who has built a replica of the monument in the memory of his beloved wife Tajamulli.

Married in 1953, Qadri’s wife was diagnosed with throat cancer and passed away in 2011. The 80-year-old man sold a piece of land and his wife's jewellery for constructing the mini Taj. However, nearing to completion of the replica, the retired postmaster is facing some financial crisis. Having already spent around Rs.11 lakhs, Quadri needs more Rs. 6-7 lakhs to get the marble studded for a finishing touch.
