The Government of Assam has constituted a Governing Body for Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Photo & Archive under the Chairmanship of Sarbananda Sanuwal, Chief Minister of Assam & Minister, IPRD.
Guwahati: The Government of Assam has constituted a Governing Body for Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Photo & Archive under the Chairmanship of Sarbananda Sanuwal, Chief Minister of Assam & Minister, IPRD.
The Committee has consisted with Commissioner & Secretary, IPRD as Member Secretary, the Commissioners & Secretaries of Finance, Planning & Development, Revenue Cultural Affairs and PWD (Building), Directors of I&PRD, State Archive and State Museum, Assam and Eminent Actor Biju Phukan, Noted Actors Taufik Rahman, Pranjal Saikia and Chetana Das, Hrishikesh Goswami, Secretary, Asom Sishu Sahitya Nyas, Manju Borah, Award winning film Director, Utpal Baruah, Renowned Photo Journalist, Jitul Sonuwal, Popular Singer, Bobeeta Sharma, Noted Director and Pabitra Margherita, Cultural personality are the members of the Governing Body.
The Governing Body will direct and supervise matters regarding implementation of the work of establishing and running the institute.
The Governing Body will meet at least twice in a year.
