Kangana is also shown encouraging children to take pride in their nation, and saluting the Indian army, airforce and navy in the video.
Reeta Gupta, brand advocate and filmmaker who conceptualised this video, says " there's entertainment for entertainments sake, and there's entertainment to spark a revolution. Movies like PK by my idol Rajkumar Hirani, educate as much as they entertain. It is this fine balance that storytelling has to achieve."
Kangana Ranaut is famously known to take a stand against fairness creams and several other stereotypes that ail Indian society. Hence, she was the perfect choice for the video. The video received 1.35 lac views on Indian independence day, 15th August.
The video makes a distinction by switching to documentary style, while showing real life people and scenes, as they celebrate independence day.
