Chandigarh: Congress candidate Manpreet Singh Badal won from Bathinda Urban seat, deafeating AAP candidate Deepak Bansal by 18,480 votes.
Manpreet, estranged nephew of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, polled 63,942 votes while Bansal got 45,462 votes. Akali candidate Sarup Chand Singla was at the third spot with 37,177 votes.
