Various private and government educational institutions organised Sri Krishnashtami celebrations with pomp and gaiety here on Wednesday. Sri Saraswati Sisu Mandir students celebrated Krishnashtami by playing ‘kolatam’ from their school to the heart of the town.
Tandur (Rangareddy): Various private and government educational institutions organised Sri Krishnashtami celebrations with pomp and gaiety here on Wednesday. Sri Saraswati Sisu Mandir students celebrated Krishnashtami by playing ‘kolatam’ from their school to the heart of the town.
In St. Mary High School, sizable number of children attended the celebrations in the attire of Krishna and Gopikas. Apart from cultural programmes, competitions in painting were also conducted for the students. Krishnashtami was also celebrated in Peddemul, Basheerabad, Yalal and other mandals also in the district.
