Vijayawada: The new executive committee of the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association, West Krishna unit, assumed charge here on Sunday with hundreds of government employees attending. The APNGOs Association State president, V Gopala Reddy and secretary P Ashok Babu, administered the oath of office to the newly-elected members. They asked the members of the new panel to work for protection of rights of employees in the region. The new committee included Koneru Ravi as president, V Suribabu as associate president, P Ramesh as secretary and J Swami as treasurer.A The other office-bearers included, P Rajasekhar, P Y Venkateswara Rao, B Krishna Kishore and D Prasada Raju as vice-presidents, Abdul Raheem as organising secretary, Vemuri V Prasad, Ch Apparao, P Rajagopal and Ch Madhusudhana Rao as joint secretaries, M Sujatha as women secretary and K Sivaprasad, Ch Sri Ram, B Stish Kumar and P V Lakshmana Rao as executive members. The MLC-elect, Boddu Nageswara Rao, NGO association leaders, P Srinivasa Rao, Kallepalli Madhusudhana Raju, A Sambasiva Rao, K Narasimha Rao and Ch Srinivasa Rao represented their respective unions at the meeting.
