Hyderabad XI skipper Hanuma Vihari was going strong on 126 against MRF even as Yathin Reddy came up with a 62-run cameo that took the team to 253 for the loss of two wickets from the 67 overs that were possible.

Although, Umang Sharma was in good nick while remaining unconquered and waged a lone battle for FCI, which was shot out for 251 by Air India, the best knock came from the blade of Abhinav Mukund for India Cements. The southpaw opened up soon after getting a feel of the wicket.

His 142 came from 191 balls and comprised of 13 hits to the fence and five massive hits over the ropes. Giving him company for a long but unfortunate to miss out on a deserving century was R Rohit who made 95 runs with two hits to the boundary and three sixes. Meanwhile, the bowlers of the day were Air India’s Karan Dagar (5/64) and Badri Alam (4/51) who hastened the first innings collapse of FCI.
