Hyd to host National kabaddi from tomorrow. Telangana Kabaddi Association and Hyderabad District Kabaddi Association will jointly conduct the 27th Sub-Junior National championship at Lal Bahadur Stadium here from October 15 to 18.

Hyderabad: Telangana Kabaddi Association and Hyderabad District Kabaddi Association will jointly conduct the 27th Sub-Junior National championship at Lal Bahadur Stadium here from October 15 to 18. According to K Jagadishwer Yadav, Organising Secretary, boys and girls from around 60 teams will be seen in action during the three-day championship, after its inauguration by Sports Minister T Padma Rao Goud.
He said that for the first time Pro-Kabaddi League rules will be in force in a sub-junior championship, which is being conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis, including under floodlights. Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya will give away the prizes during the closing ceremony.
