Maxwell spoils Dilshan’s party

Colombo: Tillakaratne Dilshan’s final international game ended with a loss for Sri Lanka but with a wicket for him. Playing the spoiler was Glenn Maxwell whose aggressive knock took the match away from the host.

Earlier, Australia faltered from 93/0 in their chase of 129 to stand 120 for 6 with Sri Lankan bowling coming out on top with number of balls dwindling. But, in the end, the target wasn’t enough and Australia had enough firepower up their sleeve to come out as winners in the contest.
