Sweet potato bake



  • Cashew nuts, finally chopped 50 gms
  • Walnuts, finally chopped 50 gms
  • Sweet potato 250 gms
  • Roasted Sesame seeds 2 tsp
  • Ginger paste ½ tsp
  • Cows ghee 3 tsp
  • Rock salt Lemon juice to taste


  • Boil, peel and mash the sweet potato.
  • In a wok, heat ghee and sauté the ginger paste, cashews and walnuts.
  • Add in the mashed potato and rock salt. Mix well.
  • Cool and pour mixture in a flat baking tray.
  • Sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds.
  • Bake till it browns on the top.
  • Squeeze lemon juice before serving.
  • Serve with mint chutney, cucumber and pomegranate salad garnish with grated coconut.
